The Aierdi Farmhouse

Iglesia Bautista Esperanza Viva

The Living Hope Baptist Church began in 1993 as a small group of believers meeting in the Bonikowsky's apartment in the town of Zegama. During the next few years, although growth was very slow, they moved with a handful of people into a rented building in the larger town of Beasain. In 1997 the Lord brought the Juan Alvarez family to join them and a missionary team began. Later Miss Christina Crute (now Gradwell) joined for several years as well as the Matthew Black family. The Aierdi missionary team, now consisting of three families (Bonikowsky, Alvarez, and Wilkins) and a few singles or interns, is concentrating efforts on strengthening the main church ministry with their eyes on 13 target areas in the surrounding regions that also need their first Baptist church plant.

Christmas 2007 Gospel Postcard project. This is our second mailing to towns in the Goierri region of Gipuzkoa, Spain. Click on the link to open up a pdf that explains the project in more detail.

Postcard Project update (Oct24). The response in prayer support and financial help was shocking so we prepared an updated version of the poster, reflecting the Goierri towns that are now on the list to receive Gospel postcards at each of their homes.
