Recent institute

We began organizing Intensive Institutes of the Bible in January 1999 for the spiritual growth and encouragement of the Living Hope Baptist Church believers. The idea was born as we considered the fact that few of our people would ever have the opportunity to travel to Bible colleges or conferences to hear good preachers and teachers of the Word.
So, why not bring them here?! We decided on a full Saturday format, with five full hours of Bible instruction, interspersed with times for sweet fellowship and delicious food. At first the invitation went to the few churches in the Basque region and the meetings were held at the rented facilities of our church. But soon we extended the invitation to other Baptist churches in Spain and by the 7th institute, in June of 2002, we made the move to the Aierdi farmhouse. As you can see in the pictures of those early institute, the farmhouse was VERY rustic. But the fellowship was always wonderful, graced with the presence of the Lord's Holy Spirit. We have had 30 institutes so far, with 16 different men of God doing the teaching, and each time our people have been greatly blessed. God is good.
