2013 Christmas postcard project--EXPANDED (and finished!)
Because of the drop in price last year and some very generous gifts that came in after the project, all of the printing costs for this year are covered and the amount per town is substantially lower! We also hope to expand the project to include three large towns in a region next to ours. On the map below you can see the location of the 18 Goierri towns and the 3 new Upper Goierri towns. If your interested, watch the Spanish Gospel video the card will point each reader to.
January 2014 update: In the end we ordered and mailed 25,000 postcards to all 18 of the Goierri towns and also to Zumarraga and Urretxu. Next year we hope to add Legazpi too. Praise the Lord for the funds that were given to send out this year's postcards! God is good.

Dear Pastors & friends,
Each Christmas we send out Gospel postcards to the homes of the 18 Goierri towns. These bilingual cards are mailed through the postal system to nearly 18,000 addresses in the region. The Gospel message on them is brief (because of space), but it is also clear and direct, in both Spanish and Basque languages. They are directed to a more complete version on the church website. If you would like to see the text that is on the back, in English or Spanish, scroll to the bottom of this page. This year the costs have gone down substantially, which is good! If you want to help, by adopting all or part of a town, please let us know by email, clicking on the "ADOPT A TOWN!" button. We also want to send postcards to the nearby target region (called Upper Goierri) with the towns of Zumarraga, Urretxu, and Legazpia. These towns together add another 11,700 homes to the project. We currently have a weekly Bible study going on in this area and it is where the Willis family will be settling in for the church plant when they arrive after deputation. Gifts may be sent through your church or directly to our Mission Office at the following address.
Meanwhile, let's be praising the Lord with us for what He will do through these printed Gospel messengers! Check out the location of the towns |

Text in English and Spanish
When God became man and came to earth, He was not born in a palace cradle but into a stable. In such a simple place Jesus was born of Mary, a virgin from Nazareth. His arrival was not announced in the king’s court; rather, angels gave the word to some shepherds who were tending their sheep during the night.
All of this was done to make it clear that that Gospel of Jesus Christ is available to everyone, even the lowest among us. Any person, rich or poor, educated or not, can approach the Lord for forgiveness and eternal salvation. It is enough to understand that we are sinners and need a Savior, repent of that sin, and ask Jesus, by faith, for the salvation of your soul. The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” This is the true message and significance of Christmas.
