Nineteen teens came in from Spain, Poland, Lithuania, and Austria. And what a wonderful time God gave us! Bro. Mike Patterson preached stirring messages each night. The rest of the days were packed with other teaching sessions, sweet fellowship, hilarious fun times, and delicious food. The missionary teens were so helpful and unspoiled!
The Aierdi missionary team/staff that together made is possible was made up of the Bonikowsky, Alvarez, Wilkins, and Dodgens couples, with the excellent help of Laura D., Sarah O., and Hannah D. It was our privilege to serve David, Raquel, Elizabeth C., Elizabeth G., Nate, Lydia, Caroline, Kathryn, Alex, AJ, Aida, Andrea, Daniel, Claire, Anelise, Rachel, Tim, Kasia, and Ali.
We are very grateful to the parents for their investment in sending the teens, as well as friends from the USA who sent in gifts to help bring down the costs of the retreat and/or aid in the transportation expenses of the missionaries.
We prayed for the best retreat ever and the Lord answered our prayers! God is good. AB

Missionary Teen Retreat 8 (posted before the retreat)

- Well, we don't know yet how many teens are coming to our 2011 retreat, or from where. So, this page will be updated as the Lord brings things about.
- The picture you are seeing is significant to our upcoming 8th retreat. It was taken just months after God gave us the Aierdi farmhouse, and from left to right are the following men: Billy Patterson, Juan Alvarez, Dr. Mike Patterson, Andy Bonikowsky, and Al Bonikowsky. Bro. Mike (in the middle) is our special guest for December 1-7 activity.
- Now when we warn MTs that the facilities are rustic, we mean it. But not quite so much as in this picture!
