Living Hope printing ministry
The printing ministry in the Basque region was born in 1990 when a fellow missionary in Madrid gave Andy Bonikowsky a small, tabletop AB Dick press. He learned to print simple two color tracts which were used in 1990-1992 to cover the 83 towns in the province of Gipuzkoa, a project that delivered tracts to over 200,000 homes. In response to the general need for custom literature, the press also began to supply tracts for 20+ church plants throughout Spain. In 1996, Hampton Park Baptist Church, in Greenville, SC, sent over a Multilith 1250 (pictured) and a new phase of full color literature was begun. A few years later Andy's co-worker Juan Alvarez became the main printer. In this picture he is holding a box of LA VIDA QUE DIOS OFRECE tracts that would soon be on their way to a missionary in Africa.
