December 2009
- In this year's retreat we had 21 missionary teens come in from Spain, Germany, Scotland, Lithuania, Poland, and Austria.
- Our special speakers were Dr. & Mrs. Garlock. The theme for the main series of messages was MUSIC!!!. What a treat it was for the kids to have personal interaction with the wonderfully talented and godly musicians! Missionaries Flay & Margaret Allen also added their delightful touch through teaching and music.
- Another special treat was having Miss Anne Dreisbach. Each year one of us presents a biography . . . usually of some famous missionary of the past. This time we had a "live missionary story" as Miss Anne shared details from her ministry in Surinam to 20+ fascinated teens!
- The book we gave each teen this year was DISCOVER YOUR DESTINY, by Cary Schmidt.
