Taken from the opposite hillside. Mike and Wilson are standing beside the tank, which is somewhat visible through the trees. To the right of this column you can see the men who poured the top section of the walls.
Water tank work continues (Feb 2012)
We made some changes in the way the cistern was to be built. Here Wilson is starting to take out the brick to frame for the concrete walls. In the pictures to the right you can see some of the progress and those who helped in it.
Water tank work begins (May 2011)
In order to have enough water pressure in the farmhouse we either had to use a pump or build a cistern high up on the hill. We decided on the latter option and just recently took the first steps in that direction. The Westside BC mission team, from St. George, UT, came in May (2011) and helped us start. They dug out the spot for the water tank and poured the base. In this picture you can see the team of six standing on the pad with the farmhouse roof down below and behind. We estimate the project will cost about $3,000, including all the building supplies and the tubing/pipe needed for getting the water to the tank and down to the farmhouse. One of the men in our Beasain congregation is ready to build the rest of the tank as soon as the Lord provides the funds. Thank you for praying. God will supply in His perfect time and way.
